Q. What text sizes are appropriate for text?
A: Body copy is best around 9-10 pts. Your subheads can easily be 12-14. Topic areas or headlines can be 28 or so. Remember that 72 pt is 1 inch – that is huge!
Q: How creative should my resume be?
A: Design is not a substitute for content. So focus on content and telling hiring managers what skills you have first. But also, consider tailoring resumes and cover letters to specific jobs – both in design and content.
Q: How do you reveal and hide the grids so quickly?
A: Keyboard shortcuts! To show (or hide) the document grid, use CMD (CTRL) ‘ . To show (or hide) all non printing elements use W when in the selection tool
